Ryan suffered a stroke which resulted in paralysis of his right side. A decorated Marine, Ryan received the National Defense Service medal among other honors. Ryan’s goals for his MyoPro include increased independence through the ability to use both arms again. He would like to be able to dress himself as well as be able to perform assistive tasks like carrying grocery bags and doing household chores.
