SoldierStrong Scholarships

  • The purpose of the SoldierStrong Scholarship award is to enable people who have served in the United States Armed Forces the opportunity to further pursue or to continue their education. The award must be put towards full-time study in pursuing an undergraduate degree, a graduate degree, or a certification/degree from an accredited technical/trade school. The Scholarship will be awarded predominately based upon financial need. Applicants must meet all of the eligibility requirements listed below. The recipient of the scholarship will be selected by either the Board of Directors of SoldierStrongInc. or by a Scholarship Committee comprised of members of the Board of Directors of SoldierStrongInc. Employees, officers, directors and their family members and relatives are not eligible to participate in this scholarship.

  • Eligibility:

    • Applicant must be a United States citizen.
    • Applicant must serve or have served in the United States Armed Forces.
      • Includes: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard, service in the National Guard and Army Reserve
    • Applicant must have been honorably discharged or is currently in good standing
    • Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
    • Applicant must use scholarship towards full time study and course-load.
    • Once enrolled, applicant must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, stay on schedule towards their expected graduation date and meet expectations of high moral character and leadership.
    • Application must be completed and received by August 15, 2019.
    • The winning applicant will be notified by mail/email by August 31, 2019.
    • Applicant must agree to authorize SoldierStrong to publicize the scholarship, if selected.
    • The award will be paid directly to the school upon notification from said school that the applicant has enrolled and registered for courses.

  • In the spirit of The Privacy Act of 1974, 5 U.S.C. & 552A, as amended, protecting your privacy is important to us. SoldierStrong will use the personal information you provide for the sole purpose of evaluating your scholarship application. It will not be shared, sold or otherwise made available to any individual, corporation or organization. Disclosure is voluntary. However, failure to provide information could preclude your consideration for this scholarship.
